From start to finish, the whole process of getting a puppy has been amazing thanks to Mike. I always wanted a puppy and knew I was ready, but Mike made me feel so much more confident in my job as a new pup parent. The first time we must’ve talked for an hour, because before anything Mike cares about his pups and ensuring they go to great homes. His detailed puppy check list helped us prepare for Benitos homecoming. I could not be more happy with our experience overall. Mike is still checking in on us and for that I am so thankful. Benito is playful, friendly, and so obedient. We could not be happier with our new baby and are so thankful we went with Mike. Thank you Mike for all your help this far and being there for us and for Benito! The great care you take with your pups and the quality in the experience overall speaks volumes to just how reputable of a breeder you are. We appreciate you!

Mike is amazing and so are his pups! Extremely well breed dogs. Our boy Hank is whip smart and full of that lab energy. Mike has kept in touch with us and checks in on our puppy. He also had been available to answer any questions or concerns we have had and he always there with a quick response. As a first time puppy owner I couldn’t be more grateful. I would suggest Chicago area labs to anyone!

We were fortunate enough to get one of Mike’s Labradoodle puppies (Izzy) a few weeks ago and he has been incredibly professional and helpful throughout the entire process. Mike asked a lot of good questions when we initially met him to discuss potentially getting a puppy and also provided a ton of helpful information regarding what to expect and what needed to be done. It is also very clear that he cares a tremendous amount for his puppies as he has reached out several times to check in on the health and well-being of Izzy over the last few weeks. He is very responsive, helpful, and genuine in his approach and I would absolutely recommend him for anyone considering getting a puppy in the Chicago area.

Great experience! Mike takes great pride in his job. When we picked up our puppy she was freshly bathed. The location was very clean considering how many dogs were there. He showed us the genetic testing on the parents to make sure she was coming from a healthy gene pool. We were given all the paperwork for microchip and AKC registration along with tips for when we bring the puppy home. Lily has been with us 2 weeks and is already fully potty trained. We added her to our family along with our cockapoo. They are adapting great and playing all the time. We are lucky to have found Mike!

Thanks Mike! We are so so so very pleased with our new family member. We picked our baby up in early December and have been in love from the get go. It's obvious that he was well loved since the moment he was born. Our puppy is mellow, smart, happy and playful. We looked high and low for a dog and stumbled across the best!

From the first time speaking to Mike to present day - he and the process has truly been wonderful. I spoke with Mike for nearly an hour the first time we spoke. He is so passionate and knowledgeable about his pups. I immediately knew I was in good caring hands and would be blessed to bring one of his special puppies home. Our “Willow girl” is almost 4 months now. She is our everything - healthy, happy, sweet, so smart, and the cutest pup you will ever lay eyes on. We certainly know who to call upon if our “Willow girl” needs a younger brother or sister. Mike, thank you for your care, advice and guidance along the way. I always wanted to get a dog, but I didn't know where to start. I am so glad I came across Mike's website as he is very knowledgeable and truly cares about finding great homes for his pups. He prepares you for what your puppy will need and lets you visit when they turn four weeks old! I love how he even after you get your pup, he checks up on how they're doing and answers any questions you may have. I couldn't be happier with my Buddy, he's already housebroken and settled in his crate right away. I definitely recommend Mike for anyone looking to add an adorable member to their family!

Mike, is a caring and excellent breeder who obviously loves his dogs. Once you meet him you'll know what I mean. We are extremely happy with our chocolate lab, Annabelle. Settled in pretty quickly, smart and happy pup. She is already housebroken, sits, slept in kennel first day, will fetch and come occasionally and all by 11 weeks. I would highly recommend Chicago Area Labrador and Labradoodles if you are considering a new pup.

If I could say one thing about Mike it's that he genuinely loves his animals. He is not a breeder that pumps out low quality animals for a profit. I went to pick up pick up our puppy and ended up staying at Mike's place for over two hours. During that time he walked me through the history of both our puppy's parents, provided valuable tips on raising a puppy and showed a sincere concern for placing her in a loving home. Since we brought her home, Mike and I have been in constant contact. He has checked back just about every other day to see how the dog is doing and is very responsive with any questions I have. Great guy with great dogs. So happy with the service and our new chocolate lab.

I was looking for a long time for a Labrador puppy. I found this website that turned out to be trustworthy for a local breeder. Mike was very professional and knowledgeable about his dogs and how to care for them. He was accommodating with my schedule, and we got a fine Lab puppy from him. He also included written instructions in detail for his care once I picked him up. I would definitely recommend in.

From the moment that we met Mike, we knew he was knowledgeable (e.g., our puppy, Fifi, should chew on frozen carrots to help with teething) and caring (e.g., he thoughtfully answered our questions and provided information to prepare for Fifi's homecoming). Although we are exhausted from potty training our Fifi, we couldn't be happier with our experience with Mike and our playful, growing Fifi! [She barely sits still, so getting a sitting picture is no easy task!]

Mike's Labradoodle Puppies was recommended to me by a mutual acquaintance. We found Mike to be very cautious about finding the right home for his puppies. I was a little uneasy about picking out a breeder, but when I found Mike’s website, and spoke with him, those feelings went away quick due to his knowledge and information about the breed and DNA testing, his invite to come and meet our puppy and the mama at the 4th week, and his consistent communication with us about our puppy from birth to the day we got our Pup. Mike really has my confidence and applause for how he handles his animals and his business. Our family is over the moon with this puppy. He is super smart and super friendly and we are very pleased and happy with our new family member! If you’re looking for an awesome furry beast for cuddles, fun and companionship, I highly recommend Mike as a breeder! It was a very positive transaction from start to finish!

The greatest part of our experience with Mike is that he generously shared new pup, Louis, with our family last week. With three young children we had a lot of love to give a puppy but not a lot of experience. Mike has gone above and beyond to ensure the transition has been successful for both our new pup and my family. And he does not hesitate to offer his experience and knowledge when presented with a question(s)...actually, lots of questions from us :) Mike (owner of Chicago area Labradors and Labradoodles) is a down to earth guy who seriously cares about his big dogs and their pups.Thank you for sharing my new favorite (Louis) with our family!

My boyfriend jack and I had a great experience getting our puppy, Oliver, from Mike! He answered my request right away and was able to accommodate a last minute visit for the last pup in his litter of labradoodles! He has been a great resource during our first week of puppy ownership and has followed up throughout the week to ensure we are doing okay. If you are looking for a lab or a labradoodle, we highly recommend going through Mike!

This was my first time adopting a puppy (Charlee) and I couldn’t be happier with the puppy and the overall process. From the first time we met Mike and all his puppies he was very professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. His home was very very clean. We chose our puppy, Lexie at 3 weeks and picked her up when she was 7 weeks old. Mike is always accessible for any questions that come up and gives us the answers we need. When looking for a breeder for my next dog, I read the reviews very carefully. Mike was great to work with. Very professional and knowledgeable. Obviously cares about who adopts and how the puppies are cared for. Great communication during the process of adoption and after following up with our concerns and the progress of the puppies. The environment was clean, safe, and inviting for both the puppies and visitors. Mike made us feel comfortable working with him and adopting his puppies right from the very beginning. Mike was very professional and had an answer to every question I asked. The facility he uses was very clean and the pups were well taken care of. I was lucky to take the last of the litter (little troublemaker) and she is the best! This is my first puppy and Mike made me feel comfortable during the whole experience. He sent me home with a packet that I still use as a template to make sure I’m doing everything possible to raise a healthy pup. He even wants to meet up over the summer to help teach Charlotte (Lottie) how to swim in the lake. I highly recommend getting your puppy from Mike.

Picked up our newest addition to our family last week from Mike and he was just wonderful! He was very informative, friendly and frequently communicated with us before, during and after our adoption. He checked in with us after picking up our pup to see how she was adjusting multiple times and answered any of the questions we had. The facility is very clean and holds a friendly atmosphere. We love our pup and would highly recommend Mike to anyone looking for a new family member!

Mike Martinez was an absolute pleasure to deal with! My Family was Lucky enough to select a yellow lab from his 1-4-2018 litter.
